Do you know what it’s like Growing Up Bush?

Since 1924, we have been helping country kids reach their full potential, so we know a little about what it’s like growing up in the Bush. And now, we want to challenge you, Australia, how much do you really know about growing up in rural and remote areas?

Australia is a large and vast country, but 70% of us live in the few major cities. There is a large disconnect and a lack of understanding for those who live in the rural and more remote parts of the country. This is especially true for the many children growing up in the bush.

In Australia today, there are more than 100,000 children living in rural and remote areas who struggle with health and developmental needs which are not being met, simply because of where they live.

TAKE OUR QUIZ TODAY TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THIS NEGLECTED HEALTH CRISIS!

If you answer all our questions correctly, you’ll go in the running to win a $500 shopping voucher. What’re you waiting for? Take our quiz today to learn more about the challenges children growing up in rural Australia face on a daily basis.

Thank you for taking the time to complete our quiz.

We hope that you now have a better understanding of what life looks like for our children growing up in the rural and remote areas of our country. They face a multitude of challenges every single day compared to Australians living in the major cities, and we want to help them overcome these barriers to have equal opportunities.

For almost 100 years, Royal Far West has worked hard to improve the educational and health outcomes for country children to help them build a brighter future. This isn’t easy, nor is it cheap.

To achieve the best outcomes for our children across rural Australia, we need to provide effective, timely, and consistent care for our children, and most importantly, make care available and accessible to every family in need, regardless of where they are.

But we wouldn’t do what we do if we weren’t completely dedicated and passionate about improving the lives of country children, their families and communities.

So thank you again for taking our quiz, and for raising awareness about our cause. If you can, we hope you consider donating to us. Every dollar counts, and it reminds families across Australia that being far from help doesn’t have to mean being far from hope.
